Cause and Effect

Variety, the spice of life,
a single voiceless crowd,
that being such of discontent
can not opinions shroud.

Whatever man have want to think
there is another still,
who holds the same in contempt,
a product of free will.

“Whom shall we defy today?”
the voiceless crowd shall speak,
while others in the same reply
with patience, tongue in cheek.

It is them, this single crowd,
whom life should then lament,
that causes all the world’s harsh pains,
its endless malcontent.
